On April 5, 2008, Philip will host a conversation with John Ottman, Film Composer and Editor of such films as "The Usual Suspects", "X-Men 2" and "Superman Returns". Don't miss this great opportunity at the Sacramento Film Festival.

For the second year in a row Philip has contributed to a 48 Hour Film Project together with Producer Mike Wilson and Director Rameeta Garewal. The film, written by Sandy Stoltz and Christa Bella was conceived, produced and posted in 48 hours. The results of all 11 teams will be presented on Saturday March 29, at the wonderful Crest Theater.

Also screening at the SFF 08 (part of Future Visionaries) is the film "Belle Amour" written by Miranda Forcier and directed by Sally Forcier, for which Philip wrote the score and did the final mix.

The debut EP of the amazing Sally Zito, singer/songwriter extrordinaire, is finally available both on her website and on itunes. Philip co-produced, engineered, co-arranged and is even singing a few lines.

We are proud to have contributed the score to the movie "POV-K9" written and produced by Kimberly Wall and directed by Frank Casanova that just won BEST FILM and BEST SCRIPT at the Buckingham Film Festival. Way to go Kim! It was a great hit at last years A Place Called Sacramento, too.

Yes, Christmas is over, but it will come again. "In the Spirit of Christmas" by Steven Johnson, a CD that was recorded and produced at The Right Music, has avid fans that like this album so much, they have to listen to it several times during the year because they can't wait until it's Christmas again. But don't just take our word for it. We are currently in pre-production for a new non-seasonal album.

Come see the fruits and labors of the 48 Hour Film Festival 07, presented March 31, at the Crest Theater in Sacramento. We are very proud to have contributed to the film "Black Widow", written, produced and posted in 48 hours! What a rush....

The Right Music was commissioned to write theme music for promotional material, as well as event music for the 06 Sacramento Film Festival, held in and around the Crest Theater. We are very excited about the new festival coming in March 07!

We had the priviledge of helping to put the finishing touches on the new album "Sandy" by Michael Doughton. Philip previously worked on Michael's album "Silhouette" after they collaborated on Nightflight, a composition for modern dance, bringing alive pieces of art. He is currently rehearsing with Micheal to perform at the CD release party on April 22, at Luna's Cafe.

We just finished production of the satirical song "My Man" by local author and composer Robert Locke, performed by the incorrigible April Ash.

The Right Music recently recorded and produced the score to the short film "My Struggle" by local composer Matthias Zimmermann
